Have I mentioned my obsession over Joan of Arc? She is known as the patron saint of soldiers. She believed that God was speaking to her through St. Michael from the age of 13. She was intensely brave and devoted to hearing her Savior and following her convictions.

This medal is a reproduction of an early 1900’s medal, the back is written in French and translates to: “There is great pity in the kingdom of France.” That is what the Archangel St. Michael told Joan of Arc in the year 1429.
