Reproduction of a French Medal for the second Madagascar Expedition of 1895 with a female head facing left, wearing a visored, winged helmet and representing the French Republic. The reverse is the image of an anchor, a trumpet and leaves, and a flag pole is centred with “HONNEUR ET PATRIE” (honor and homeland) inscribed on it.
