This large medal is 36mm and it’s front close aged brass 9x6mm etched oval link chain measures 18 inches long.

The medal front translates to: Queen Protector Mother with an image of mother and child and the back reads: Maria Congregation and the monogram JHS inside a shining sun.

Originating in Medieval Western Europe, JHS is a Latin acronym for Jesus Hominum Salvator – Jesus Savior of Mankind.
